December 7, 2006
Pearl Harbor Day. Oh, and our 4-year anniversary.
November 22, 2006
The journey to West Virginia gives us a great Thanksgiving break with Heather's family. And to add a bizarre element into the mix... we grilled out on Saturday because it was so warm.
November 10, 2006
Heather realized that we hadn't updated this page since June, so she went back and added in all the stuff she could remember.
November 4, 2006
Heather hung out with her friends at a German restaurant in Newport while Alex went to see Saw III with the small group guys.
October 28, 2006

October 23, 2006
Heather and her friend Kevin signed up for a six week Lindy Hop class. Yeah, she's a nerd and she freely admits it.
October 21, 2006
We spent the day in Louisville, having lunch with Alex's uncle at Qdoba, spending the afternooon at the Louisville Science Center, having dinner at Wild Oats, then going to see Joshua Radin in concert! We were also fortunate enough to be introduce to "The Weepies" that night.
October 20, 2006
Our small group took some time to place a bag and a flier on every porch in our Food Drive neighborhood, then celebrated our accomplishment with a meal at Mancino's.
October 14, 2006
Our small group woke up bright and early to cut and haul some wood for a family who heats their house with a wood stove. Heather finally got to haul something with that Baja of hers. :-)
September 5, 2006
Heather turned 29! It's kind of funny, because all last year she thought she was 29 so she as actually a little bummed when she realized she wasn't turning 30 this year. Anyway, we spend Labor Day weekend with her family in WV.
June 29, 2006
Alex decides to become a scuba diver.
June 2, 2006
Bowling with our small group folks - what fun! The guys had a lot of fun seeing who could get their ball to roll the fastest.

The Conrads came over for some steaks and cards before Stephanie and Heather kicked the boys out so that they could watch "The Apprentice."
May 27, 2006

May 26, 2006
We watched "Over the Hedge" and "Mission Impossible: 3" at the drive-in that Alex's grandad works at. "Over the Hedge" was totally worth it!

We headed down to C-ville to celebrate Alex's grandma's 75th birthday.
May 3, 2006
Heather's parents headed home with the goods they bought over the weekend, while Heather headed back to work and found a huge pile of work waiting for her. It's good to feel needed.

May 1, 2006
We went to antique shops in Georgetown, Harrodsburg (where we had lunch at Shakertown) and Lawrenceburg. We stopped by to see Brandon and Ginger's new house, which is beautiful.
April 30, 2006
Heather's parents came to KY to see us in the play. They really enjoyed it, and we enjoyed having them there. They brought Heather yellow roses and Alex red roses.
April 14, 2006
Opening night of Cinderella went GREAT! Sweet Terry bought every girl in the cast flowers, and the performance (while not perfect) went smoothly.
April 1, 2006
I'm tired of updating this news page. Who reads it anyway?
March 1, 2006
We decide to get our finances straightened out with the help of Dave Ramsey.
February 18, 2006
Heather ran the computer at Harmony for the first time, while Alex ran the lights. All in all it went pretty well! This was also the day
we went in for our Read Through of Cinderella. That's right, for the first time ever we will be on stage together!
February 15, 2006
For Valentine's Day (we never go out to eat actually on Feb. 14) Heather took Alex out to a Chinese restaurant. That's
true love!
February 14, 2006
We went to see "Walk the Line." Great movie! Even Heather liked it (although she still refuses to willingly listen to Cash on the radio.)
Happy California Duck Day!
February 9, 2006
Today our dish was installed, along with promises of many a wasted evening in front of the TV.

(including the onion "volcano".)
January 22, 2006
This exciting day started out with us joining our new church - Harmony Christian Church. Afterwards we hung out with Katie, David and their
Chiwawa Chloe, then helped celebrate Scott's birthday with him, Stephanie, Shelby and their German Shepard Rico.
January 21, 2006
We helped our friends Susan and Louis move some more of their things into the new house. Alex helped the most with the heavy lifting while

Having announced Alex's resignation the Sunday before, we spent our last Sunday at Stamping Ground. Big reception at the end and a good
time to say goodbye to friends. Most of whom we hope to still see a lot of.
January 7, 2006
An adventurous journey to Black Mountain, North Carolina, with good friends Brandon and Ginger finds Alex back home with his very first
hammer dulcimer, and the whole group gets the treat of meeting iconic dulcimer craftsman Jerry Read Smith.
